WHY CHOOSE HOUGH ARCHITECTURE
Hough Architecture is a design and client focused RIBA Chartered Practice in Cheshire founded by James Hough in 2015.
We approach each project with rigour to provide our clients with innovative and practical design solutions to provide the optimum design outcome for their long-term wellbeing and happiness; from the smallest detail to the largest form.
Working in collaboration with our clients and the best professionals, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality service.
Our architecture grows from a strong sense of place, developing from a passion for a rich local materiality, a love of traditional vernacular forms, a sense of craft, as well as from a buildings’ historical, social and cultural connection.
Our main focus as a practice is on residential and the everyday buildings; we all engage with workplaces to social spaces, listed buildings and new buildings. We are here for those wishing to improve their home, to those wanting beautiful new buildings.
Where do we work
Based in Sandbach, Cheshire, we undertake projects throughout Cheshire, including Knutsford, Wilmslow, Prestbury, Alderely Edge, Bowdon and Tarporley. Also Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, Derbyshire Shropshire, North Wales and London – with a construction budget over £50K – and Nationwide – with a budget over £250K.
